Dog attacks 5 police officers
During a raid on an address in London, officers were attacked by a young
pit-bull terrier. Five officers were injured three required surgery and
up to 3 months off work. The owner was asked to bring the dog under
control but he refused to co-operate. The dog was eventually shot by a
firearms officer.

Will you just Look at these brave, heroic police officers. The professionalism with which they clamber onto a neighbours wall to escape the unrelenting attacks of the vicious beast fills me with pride.
I am so happy i pay my tax to the police so they can get the proper training to handle such hostile environments.
And the individual who shot and killed this animal showed bravery the likes of which i have never seen..

*It's not illegal to keep a dangerous dog, it is illegal if it's not restricted in public (appropriate leads, mouth cages etc. He knew the dog was dangerous and after previous attacks short lead + muzzle, which kinda leads me to believe he was appropriately restraining the dog, instead of ending it's poo More..

I dont like pitbulls fucking hate most of the owners.
But I have a german shepherd rottwieler mix that is a complete asshole too.
He wasnt socialised or neutered and wants to attack anyone outside the fence .
But as an owner I treat him like hannibal lecter he is on lockdown not unsupervised outside and on his choker.
but yes if cops did that here he would definetly get shot.

One of the best ways to deter a house breaker is a dog - if you have something worth taking then you might need a serious deterrent, like a big dog. Take that away from people and they will A) Feel unsafe B) Take the intruders on personally.

Ok... let me ask you this. If an intruder enters your house,and you confront him, do you chase him until you get to the front door and then stop,letting him go? No.... you would not,yet your logic says the dog should be smart enough to make that decision? He will continue to attack the intruder just as you would.

It's ridiculous that 5 officers can't get together to take down 1 dog. Yes, it bites, but can only bite one at a time. Whilst it has a hold of one fellow, get behind the thing and take it down! Ye gods! Are you a bunch of fuckin' cowards???
The dog wasn't likely more than 75lbs, each officer likely at least 150lbs, so they had a 10-1 advantage in weight, a 5-1 advantage in numbers, theoretically a huge advantage in intelligence and did at least have sticks of some sort...and couldn't defend them More..
