Iran's
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the country's elite Quds
Force to conduct new terror attacks on the West, Britain's Telegraph reported Wednesday.

Citing
Western intelligence officials, the paper alleged the order was given
following a recent emergency meeting of Iran's National Security Council
held to discuss a report personally commissioned by Khamenei into the
implications for the Islamic Republic of the potential downfall of
Syrian President Bashar Assad, who Iran considers a crucial ally.
The
report purportedly concluded that Iran's national interests were being
threatened by a combination of UN sanctions imposed over Tehran's
nuclear program and the West's ongoing support for the opposition in
Syria.
It advised the Iranian regime to send a warning to
"America, the Zionists, Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others
that they cannot act with impunity in Syria and elsewhere in the
region."
In this respect, the Telegraph
claimed Khamenei issued a directive to Quds Force commander Qassem
Suleimani to intensify attacks against the West and its allies around
the world.
