The suspect was standing at the bus stop in the 1100 block of N. Powerline Road in Pompano Beach around 7 p.m. July 28. When the bus, headed southbound on Powerline Road, came to a stop to allow passengers in, the suspect let the victim enter the bus ahead of him. Once the man stepped into the bus, he snatched the man’s gold chain from behind and took off running. The victim gave chase, but the suspect escaped.The robber is described as a black male in his 20′s. He has cropped hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts.
