Excellent point. I have also noticed if you are from countries other than western counties and you write a book insulting your culture government or even religion then you might qualify to win Noble Prize. An Iranian Lady can't think of her name is a prime example. Having said that, I agree with milkman10's comment, he has a good point about brutal regimes who kill and murder people.
