    Huh?

A reply to a repost of a post to which it was replied is a reposted reply.

And if that reply is the repetition of a criticism to a repost of a post to which it was replied as a criticism of the original post therefore it is a reposted criticism.

It seems that you are wrong and that I am right, but please check.

    Thanks.

Look at the top right corner. When you upload an item, you're asked whether it's an update to something already posted. It's an update if the info is relevant but extra. A repost is when somebody posts the exact same thing as someone else did previously.

    Ah, ok.

I stand corrected, then: nobody will (or should) then reply to the original, outdated upload.

However, I can bet that someone will, and very soon. So there is something rotten in this system...

I suspect it's non hazardous. A lot of bacteria eat harmful stuff and just crap out benign substances so I hope this is one of them.

Such a simple and elegant solution, why can't any of thee overpaid and over qualified scientists figure this out?
