Thieves broke into an SUV parked outside a south Everett, Washington hotel a couple weeks ago.

As you can see above, a security camera at the Extended Stay America Hotel was perfectly positioned to capture the crooks in action.

According to police, three people in what appears to be a dark red Chevrolet pick-up truck pulled into the lot after 7:30 a.m. on May 10 and backed into the stall next to the Ford Expedition. One of the guys broke two windows with what appears to be a string with a hard object, and loaded telecommunication repair equipment from the SUV into the bed of their pick-up truck. The stolen equipment is worth nearly $5,000, police said.
