France admits dropping weapons to Libyan rebels
French military officials have confirmed for the first time that their country has dropped weapons and food to rebels fighting Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi's troops in Western Libya.

Looks like France, the UK and others in Libya are deliberately trying to get rid of Gaddafi without even clearly stating it, yet it's clear as day light. Even so, giving a group weapons who you perceive to be the good guys hasn't worked out so well in the past. There is bound to be some Islamic arsehole group that now have new shiny guns.
