Iran marks creation of Basij with big parade

The Basij are Iran's mobilization Islamic militia of 12 million or so. The militias fought against Iraqi invasion of 1980-1988 along side Iran's regular army and revolutionary guards.

It was created in 1979 after the Islamic Revolution. The parade marks the creation of the Basij.
