  • Peru FTW, no beef with the Chilean Brothers... they are jsut ideas of old iliterates holding a grudge and missconceptions of the poster of the vid... both beautiful countries with history and places to visit... and friendly to tourists, no need to be alarmist... every nation trains their soldiers to use the tools to defend their country... just puting things out of context it seems.

  • These things are outdated, they are so WW2 Eastern Front, one well-placed JDAM would render it useless, or even an infantry soldier with a shoulder-held Javelin missile.

    The wars of the future call for sophisticated anti-aircraft man-held missiles, such as Stingers, and advanced fighter aircraft such as the F-35 or the Sukhoi. If a country plans on fighting an elephant like the USA or Russia they better stock up on mines, explosives, RPG's, and remote controls.

    • Peru and Chile are NOT friends, do you think I'm blind and don't see the fights and hatred in other forums bewteen them? As a matter of fact Peru was going to launch a full-scale attack on Chile in the 1980's and was thawrted for the only reason that a top peruvian general died the night before the attack. Investigate if you don't believe me.

  • Chile and Ecuador are both safe places for an American to visit. The countries are pro-American. I believe Peru has a pro-American government, but not a people who are friendly to Americans.

    I suppose that means Obama would offer his moral support to Peru if there were a conflict.
