They are pissed off at what is left of their country after years of giving the castle away for votes. Their economy is jacked and they are looking at an outside entity coming in and ruling their lands.
I can understand why they are scared and now pissed. They did it to themselves (just like we are doing it to ourselves) and they are lashing out at something they can identify as not being true Greeks.
This will get worse before it gets better, and better is a long time away.
