Alex Thomson, reporter for Channel 4 News, was led by the 'Free Syrian Army' straight into a free fire zone in order to get him killed and obtain a propaganda story of the Syrian Army 'deliberately killing a reporter'.

Alex Thomson was reporting alongside the terrorists without any license from the Syrian government in a very dangerous area, and the government did not have knowledge of his presence. Although the government does issue licenses for many independent news outlets, they clearly do not approve that journalists enter into a conflict zone where they can be killed. Alex Thomson was foolish enough to trust his life in the hands of terrorists who regard him as a disposable kafir (disbeliever).
