LiveLeak. Bugs, problems and issues.
Hi all,
Firstly I'm sorry this is a text post and not video but my camera isn't currently to hand and I wanted to get this one up today.
We are aware of the issues on the site and we have, with the help of the members, put together a list of bugs, issues, and wishes for the site. We have been working through the list and will continue to do so.

Hayden, I can't even believe you're writing this, the people here would honour you like a king if they were really honest. Ok I personally wouldn't offer up a cow or donkey... but seriously these people should feel so lucky that they have somewhere to go.
Do they even realise how many times on a sunday evening you've had to block people.. I mean really.. I know If I hadn't got liveleak I'd probably be in prison or something.. ok all jokes aside, never ever apologise to any of us here leakers..
I've never had a problem with liveleak, ok in america they have a bit further to go to get the data, but are they giving up thousands?
Liveleak is great, fantastic.. and somewhat interesting.. All the best and really anyone moaning deserves free ice cream or something.. surely you could make a deal with Mcdonalds where you can email free happy meals to people that you let down.
I know that'd make me happy

I know what it feels like to be a techo behind the scenes - it's a thankless task. It pisses me off when there are problems, but not as much as when people think they have a god given right to this place.
You don't OWE us this site, it's one you provide for us, and many of us try to help it along by providing content. Invariably the ones that complain contribute the least anyway.
(You can be sure when some writes "What's this shit doing on LL? Bring back Ogrish" they have no vids at all)
Thanks for putting up with us ungrateful pricks, and I hope you're making at least some cash out of LL!

I appreciate this site being here.
I don't see any real problems, it all seems to work just fine most of the time, I use Firefox here.
Would be nice if I could edit my own post even if it is only editable right after I post it.
Sometimes I post then realize I did not say what I actually meant or it reads in a wrong context.

some are just impatient H,...and can't understand that technicalities need to be figured out and fixed,that sometimes it takes time,.
most of us ( I would guess)appreciate what you do for us,.:)

I think the biggest "bug" of Liveleak is the content itself. There are too many reposts and kindergarten content, I often think that no admin really cares about the content that users are posting.
"As long as users are uploading content, everything is fine." Thats wrong. Liveleak has become a little, mentally handicaped, brother of Youtube. Everyone can post footage but no one cares about quality. Many users that have regularly uploaded great content in the past have left, I can understand that. Ogrish is dead, Liveleak too.

serious question, i don't know anything about what causes all these problems: is it just a bad format? cheap but comes with bugs?
what would it cost to get a better format?
just curious. you'd think premium memberships/donations would help cover that but again, i know nothing about what it takes to maintain a website.

I love LL and it's membership...as many of you all know. I may ***** occasionally because of that. Same as my expectations of my kids and the others in my life that I love may be over the line a tad sometimes...so it goes here too. A lot to be said for "tough love" folks!!
If I didn't love the joint, I'd never say a word...
