@StopTheCancer
Must be worse when kids are involved. It's something I would not be able to face.

@thegrimreaper I knew a recovery/tow truck driver years ago. He used to come home and talk about the wrecks he'd dealt with, the mangled metal and crushed bones… until he was called to an accident where a baby had been killed. He shut right up after that.

@DarkSim I think mainly because Asian police dont correct their bad driving habits and an official can be bribed to get a license.
Most appear to be very impatient and Irrational to me.

Those Chinese firefighters need to learn proper extrication techniques. Simple or Modified dash roll would have had that guy out in minutes. Very Mickey Mouse.

@Fire37Rescue It's Japanese space metal. Our inferior jaws and cutters are futile.

Ha!
Funny that you mention that. There is a noticeable difference in metal temper in Japanese cars...Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing,as you want steel to 'give' in an accident...but yeah, Japanese steel is much easier to cut than say American,Canadian or European metal."Like Butta"
cheers

Only a fool ignores the 2 second rule.
And as I've encountered a good many people that can't even time twos seconds, let me help you: One banana, two banana.

tailgate accident?
looks more like a head-on or rear-ending a stalled truck.

Too much blood to have been killed instantly. Heart went on beating for a little while. Hopefully dude was unconscious and didn't have to see himself bleeding out. That being said, getting into the passenger seat with an asian driver = just a matter of time.

I'm curious. If the couple in the car were already dead, why continue to block traffic while they're cut out? Why not grab the whole car, drop in on a flatbed truck, take it someplace out the way and extricate them at leisure? That way the road gets opened sooner, the crowds clear quicker, and life gets back to normal.

@hereforthecomments That's normal European procedure, but that would take away the chinese people's chance to gawk.

Let me see if I can explain that:
I don't know how it works in China, but I'll try and explain how it works here in the States. If it's a fatal car crash, the scene of the accident becomes a crime/homicide scene. Meaning, accident/homicide investigators will try at best to reconstruct the accident in every detail.Moving vehicles around will hamper their investigation. They cannot investigate the scene, make measurements and locate evidence properly if cars are whizzing by the More..

@Fire37Rescue Ah-ha! I was hoping someone in the know would see my comment. Thanks for your detailed explanation, it makes perfect sense in this day and age.
My Dad was a cop fifty-some years ago, back when the world was less litigious and there were far fewer cars on the road. In the cases he dealt with, everyone was in a hurry to get the highway open again and I was wondering what had changed.

Yeah, things have changed quite a bit. Tip of the cap to your dad. I was a investigator for over 20 years in Los Angeles California before retiring and starting my second career as a fire fighter.
I know it's frustrating sitting in traffic for hours because I have done it too. It takes so long because now a days there are so many elements to the investigation.Witness statements/contacts, acceleration/braking measurements,Yaw marks, evidence collection etc. Like I said earlie More..
