Quite a mix in there. Okinawa, Bougainville, Saipan, possibly Guadalcanal, Truk, Iwo Jima, North Africa, Italy, the bocage, WWII in just under three minutes!
I'm glad I got to meet a lot of those old timers, their stories would make your head spin. If we had the casualties today that came from a single battle then there would be revolution in the streets.

We're lucky to not have to live through a true world war.
Just over 65 years ago it ended with what 50 MILLION total dead? Hard to believe.
If only we put forth the same effort to achieve peace.
