Video evidence.
It was closing time at the bar I was hanging out at, and I was leaving when I heard some people yelling at each other. I decided to take out my HTC Droid Eris phone (not a Moto Droid) to record the altercation hoping to catch a fight on video, but a black guy took notice and not wanting to be filmed decided to charge me, take my phone out of my hand and destroy it. He threw it to the ground and walked off. I got his face on video though. I'm debating with myself whether or not I should go to the police with this.

I did not initiate a fight even if I wanted to, because admit it, the guy is scary as shit and I was in a shady area. Plus I didn't want to get in trouble with the law and lose my chance to possibly get reimbursed for my damaged property.

Little did the guy know, the magical pictures on cameras and phones don't just automatically disappear when they are broken. The evidence was saved on the MicroSD card before the phone was broken, and here it is... with a bit of comically inappropriate music.
