Robot warriors, on the horizon.
The US military has developed the "humanoid" robot. It should be ready for Peace keeping (combat) missions soon.

No shit Sherlock, sending humanoids to do our dirty job is very controversial. If DARPA is showing this stuff prob they have a version that already speak and only say SIR, YES SIR!! and go for the killing.
Nice video Figa!

It just goes to show how stupid humans are. They have the latest technology and they turn it into a weapon.

@sirgrim Unfortunately, that's the way it's always been, and probably will remain. The guy with the biggest stick usually wins.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

@forqalso Yes, and then they realize that we are the biggest threat to ourselves and take action to protect us based on the needs of the many. It's been done. The three laws are fatally flawed.

@mikecurse It's from I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. Maybe I should add footnotes to my posts.

@forqalso Yeah I know. This video is from reality, though, which was not written by Isaac Asimov.

I would say robots in the near future will be more of an assist device than an actual attacking element on the front line.

@Penguinister Yes, but Only to phase the concept in. Like our drone planes were phased in by saying they were only to be used for surveillance. That concept only lasted a few years before they attached missiles. Cheers~

Guys relax. Whatever it can do means nothing unless they come up with a portable and viable source of energy. No fatigue my ass. Cut that cord it is connected to and it will get tired real fast.

The incipient years of our future, total enslavement. A robot army could do things no human army could do and never get tired nor psychologically damaged by it. They feel no remorse. One day or another, all too soon, we're gonna be screwed over and enslaved by the elites and their army of pitiless robot slaves.

Awesome robot. Won't be long. Just need to figure out a limitless power source. In the 50's, Ford designed a nuclear powered car. Never went into production. But a nuclear power cell might be a viable option. Modern technology should be able to micro size the concept.
