    What rule of law does the taliban follow? When we did nothing we were attacked a total of 9 times!
    We'll take our chances and kill as many as possible! it seems to have worked just fine for the last 6 yrs. with america being attack free! and hope that the process of evolution will catch up with the muslim people eventually.

    Well for every terrorist you kill there are so many civilian casulaties that go with it. In the process you are creating far more hate amongst the locals and civilians .Does it make sense to make 100K people your enemy to get 5K-10K people .I don't think so as long as u value life. Remember its far more easier to say force can solve problems when ur family and loved ones are not involved.

    I know taliban are really no good and have deteriotated the image of islam big time but u cannot simply eliminate them. No matter if u are in afghanistan for 10 more years which is not simple because the countries doesn't seem to have enough resourced to do so but they will always be in power one way or the other. Although, I agree what they do is completely wrong but using force to change hearts and mind is not going to do any good to any one.
