Run time 5:26 This is a yoursay eh, see it through. Like a bashman post it may be cryptic.
This is how I hope to leave something behind long after I am gone.
We have children as genetic testimonials that we were here.
And people that will remember us, but for how long ?
How can someone leave intent and essence, emotions, feelings, behind for others to understand far down the road. When we create something completly from within us. We have a uncommon connection to that creation, as if it was a small peice of us in the work itself. Our very vibrations have become a part of the peice itself.
So this song and this table have alot of meaning for me. Anything created will always have great meaning to the creator, NO ?
three angles by the headstones. one I love to sing and play.
Let's see what the rest of the yoursayers leave for a skidd mark on this planet.
When you think about it what realy lasts for centuries ? And how can you let people know 500 years from now, how it came about and who you were. Like a time capsule with the (lets say) art for now. How could you ensure that they could, access the info. I am thinking some kind of ram system .....maybe a booklet...with idiograms. Whats YOUR plan.

Why not leave a tree or a forest of trees as a testimony to your efforts to help the environment?

yup, they guy is doing the opposite to what he should be doing for his future generations. he cuts down the trees instead of planting them. stupidity.

Olive oil is a great sealer. I use it on lots of stuff including wooden utensils & handles and cutting boards.

@RickBond__I cook with it. Oh, and I use mineral(food grade)oil on my cutting boards. I just never heard of olive oil being used on furniture.

Nice to see!
I've started a similar project. I've had a reasonably large North African Cedar in logs on my front lawn for about 3 years - I had to have it felled as it got a fungal disease. The ends are sealed with bitumen so I hope it's seasoned now without splitting.
I'm not sure if North African Cedar (very similar to Cedar of Lebanon) is a good wood for tables? I have some North American Cedar which is very soft and powdery.
The big trick is splitting into planks. Your chainsaw jig looks More..
