...the rush one must get from this is something I'd love to experience...flinging myself off a perfectly good cliff would be a bit of a hurdle though...

@Wyseguy67 ...lol, that would require flinging myself out of a perfectly good airplane!...I have been paragliding before however - next best thing in my books, with the added bonus that if things aren't working right you don't leave the ground...and you just run until lift off - no flinging required!...

@Wyseguy67 ...not sure - I usually call parasailing when you're being pulled behind a boat in a chute attached to a long line...paragliding is having the chute(wing) attached and you run down a short incline until the chute(wing) attains enough lift for you to leave the ground:
