Uruguay Legalizes Cannabis Sale For Cocaine-Paste Users !!!

For the first time in history a country in South America has openly LEGALIZED Cannabis to fight crime rates AND TO MAKE COCAINE PASTE ADDICTS CHANGE THEIR DRUG OF CHOICEThe Latin American country is planning not only to legalize marijuana, but to actually start selling it. By dose of 40 joints a month per person to make crackheads (Pasta Base) addicts a normal person again.

The Uruguayan government has devised a new measure to fight drug trafficking: lawmakers are to send a bill to Congress on Wednesday that would legalize marijuana sales.

Only the government is allowed to sell special cigarettes, report local news outlets. The new indulgence would only be available to registered users, though. A limit would be set and those exceeding it would be subject to drug rehabilitation.

The new crime-fighting measure is designed to lift profits from drug dealers – and divert the public from harder drugs. MPs also expect the new measure to go hand in hand with an anti-drug campaign.

Marijuana is not outlawed in Uruguay, where the possession of drugs for personal use has never been criminalized. The country is considered to be serving South American drug traffickers as a big hub for drugs destined for Europe.

  • As a constitutionalist and supporter of the liberty movement it’s sad to see countries that SHOULD be following our lead like Portugal, Mexico and Uruguay lead the way on this issue.

The US government spends OUR money to subsidize the tobacco industry then spends more to promote anti-smoking advertisements. Cigarettes kill several HUNDRED THOUSAND Americans each year but pot is illegal (at worst is makes you lazy and stupid).

By keeping these “drugs” illegal we spend MORE money fighting More..

    • @Moore Slayer - it's a systematic, self perpetuating force of control.

    • @Moore Slayer Why be sad? It's not about prestige. Be happy that this is a growing trend in the world. The US will hold onto the law, probably because if pride, if not for deep rooted corruption. But when the rest of the world legalizes weed, the US would look stupid not following, or completely corrupt. And the American people would rethink their leaders.

  • Marijuana works quite well to get people off drugs they are currently on without serious side effects. I have used it for opiate and cocaine withdrawal in the past and now only smoke weed occasionally for pain or insomnia. Although 40 joints per month doesn't seem like a lot but it's a start I guess.

  • The problem is that the coca paste is used to fight the effects of high altitude sickness. Used in a more natural form, the leaves themselves are not as addicting. And if you're addicted to something that makes you able to live in your family home, and you aren't planning on leaving, so what?

Coca leaves can be purchased legally and openly at the high altitudes in South America. I'm glad that cannabis is legal, they may prevent drug cartels from taking over their nation.

  • Look at all that oil =....) beautiful. And i don't think that 40 joints a months will go over very well ,for a person that may have consumed 5 or 10 maybe even 20 rocks a day!

  • the medical weed argument is such a copout- legalize weed in all forms all varieties all types in all cases whatsoever - it's the right thing to do.

  • Im sure 40 joints amonth will stop junkies smoking base

  • I'm not sure I get it. If weed was already not illegal, then how is it "legalizing" it? The difference that I see, is that the government is getting into the drug business, and apparently, are looking to have a monopoly on selling weed. Their angle, to give it to crack addicts only, is dangerous, because some people might think "I want government weed, so I better start smoking crack and become a registered user". Why not simply legalize the sale of marijuana completely? Mayb More..
