Police chase and arrest two 15 year-old teens after pizza delivery car stolen

STOW 08-06-2008 Two 15-year-olds have been charged in connection with a chase which police say started after a pizza delivery car was stolen.

Officers were called out to the Papa John's Pizza on Darrow Road after the car was reported stolen. The driver had just returned from making a delivery and keys were still in the ignition.

While the owner of the car was making a police report, she noticed the car driving past the pizza shop.

Police chased the car and pulled it over on Graham Road at Northview. As officers exited their vehicle, they say the teenage boy driving the car took off.

Officers again took up the pursuit while a third put 'stop sticks' down on Graham Road.

The teen drove over the spikes and then a police cruiser before coming to a stop ending the chase on Graham Road near the railroad tracks.

The teens were taken into custody and charged.

The 15-year-old boy faces charges of failure to comply with an officer, receiving stolen property, and reckless operation. He remains in a juvenile detention center.

The 15-year-old girl riding with him in the car was charged with receiving stolen property and released to the custody of her parents
