MetalStorm 3GL Grenade Launcher

Unlike the Milkor, a lightweight 40 mm semi-automatic, 6-shot grenade launcher, which is the classic grenade launcher, MetalStorm 3GL doesn't have multiple barrels. Just a single one, which is electronic controlled—running on two AA batteries that will last for the entire life of the barrel itself. That makes it half the weight of the Milkor, while using the same standard 40 x 46mm grenades, wh More..

  • I remember the M203, single shot grenade launcher attached to the M-16. You loaded the grenade, closed the chamber, and pulled the trigger. The firing pin shot off the grenade from the launcher the same way a bullet was fired from the rifle.

If I am seeing right, this gizmo stacks three grenade rounds one on top of another in the firing chamber. Which leaves me wondering "Howd'e-do-dat?"
