An Israeli television station has obtained video of a woman appearing to be run over by a train and surviving in an apparent failed suicide attempt.

KFAR VITKIN, ISRAEL (MAY 31, 2009) CH.2 -
Video pictures obtained by Israel's Channel 2 Television show a woman lying on a railway track in an apparent suicide attempt, before rising to her feet again - after a train appears to have run her over.
The incident happened in northern Israel on Sunday (May 31).

The woman is first seen roaming around the train tracks before a railway employee signalls that a train is en route.

Seconds before the train comes speeding past, the woman lies down on the tracks but, to the surprise of those watching, she then gets up and walks away.

According to Ch.2 reports, police later caught up with the woman and escorted her to a local hospital.
