  • Democrats and liberals hate this country. They want to send us back to the stone age with their destructive energy policies. Self-hating Whites and angry minorities who were brainwashed to hate the country that gives them the highest standard of living on the planet. Really sad.

  • Obama doesn't care about America as it is today, he wants America to be the Europe of the West. Obama clearly wants fossil fuels to go away and sink our hard earned tax dollars into the failing Green energy. Although we need a energy policy overhaul Green isn't it. Obama turned down Keystone which would not lower gas prices alone but would help along with gaining thousands of jobs in the U.S.
Obama wants to provide foreign aid to other countries oil exploration and tell them the U.S. will be the More..

I don't believe that for a second. Obama is a "pawn" to big oil like every potus before him.

To have a serious energy shift in this country it has to be agreed to by both parties and followed for at least 10 years.

I'm sick of the subsidies in billions that the gop insists on while they make record profits.

Keystone is nothing more than a give me to big oil. It would't be finished until "14" and it by passes all the refineries in the mid-west? Why so they More..

    • @dcmfox Nope...not even close. Obama threw away thousands of jobs just to buy oil abroad. Green suckS ass...it isn't proven yet and the White House continues to spend MY and your tax dollars into companies that go bankrupt day after day. You cannot argue that !

  • Note to Israel.
Obama said his has your back.

If Obama has your back then you had better put a flake jacket on. Cuz Obama knifed Canada in the back on the Keystone Pipeline deal.

this is a friend you may want to re-evaluate.

to our US friends. What does this say to you the American voter. you have to decide is re-electing Obama worth the cost of seeing your domestic price of gasoline rise to European levels. In Europe, the gas station price at the pumps is in excess to $8 bucks per gallon, More..

Also Poland on the ABM deal, and Mubarak in Egypt. Oh yeah also he dissed the UK by returning the bust of Churchill, and by gifting the queen with an Ipod filled with his speaches, and Gordon Brown by giving him a collection of dvd's that don't play on European players!

The American voter is preoccupied with pop culture and personality. Politics are as foreign to most of my countrymen as are dental floss to a Brit (no offense to my British friends)!

Carney should be glad he isn't related to Pinocchio. His nose would have required multiple plastic surgeries by now.

We all need telling what to do. Your mum, GF and maybe the kids!
It's not about trust anymore - it's about who you represent to run the country you live in.
If you don't like it - move to a place that doesn't have the rules and regs that most POWERFULL - RICHEST - nations have!

  • The President put a stop to the pipeline that would have created 20,000 union jobs. Yet union members continue to support him. I would like to hear what union members here at liveleak have to say about that.

I support unions but not currently in one.

The President stopped nothing the senate did.

This "Permanent" pipeline has to travel through many states which requires all of the states to agree on routes and the complex vs risk.

20k jobs yes for a small amount of time. Then after its built maybe 500 to clean up the spills?

All while we give the oil cartels billions in tax payer money while they rape us at the pump and sell the oil from keystone overseas?

    • @ronjon Even Trans Canada VP said in an interview as to job creation, probably around 700 up front, and about 50-70 permenant jobs, while Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and others were claiming 10,000 - 1,000,000 jobs lost because of it, more media BS Hype by Faux News. The downsides of the Keystone Pipline are way greater than the upsides.

I love this shit, bashing the oil companies for being competitive.
Isn't that the goal of each and every business out there?
And before anyone starts yelling rape, ever been to or seen any aspect of the process of getting oil or gas from the ground to the consumer? I have. It is expensive. Oil companies spend many millions of dollars on each and every well before they ever see an inkling of a return of their investment, and directly or indirectly employ hundreds of thousands of people More..

I have worked in the oilfield for 18 years. I have seen spills of all kinds, and in every case, remediation was effective. Remember the doom and gloom spread by the media and the US government on what the last gulf oil spill would do? Hear anything on it recently?
And of coarse the risks and expenses "usually" pay off. But for every sucessful oil company there are thousands that went under.
One more thing, google US pipeline map and look at some of the data on the thousands o More..

I have worked some small fields for years, and have seen what happens to re mediated and cleaned up spill areas are like a decade later. You are the one buying the propaganda. How deep is the water table, a foot? Any idea how much naturally occurring oil there is on the bottom of the Gulf? More than man has put t More..

    1. The environmental wing nuts.
    2. He wants the price of gas to sky rocket, so the public will accecpt a magical fuel source that don't exist yet.

    • @IkillRednecks You got that backwards. Now that the pipeline was put off, all our oil is going to China. since we give the US a break on the price and China is willing to pay more, I'm all for it. I say we shut off the lights to New England, New York State, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and the Pacific Northwest also.
