When I was younger I visited Guam, USA.
Up near the village of Piti, there is a trail that you can take up into the mountainous jungle. As you walk up the path, you come across Japanese built bunkers, 88mm cannons facing Asan Bay which is where the US Marines pushed and eventually liberated Guam.
Up there though, I specifically remember there being two downed Zero's. I use to play inside the cockpits of both these Zeros when I was younger. Too bad they didn't get any photos, I'm sure th More..

My first thought is to take a souvenir, but then it seems disrespectful somehow.

@da_schmitty yeah it is, but there are people do, remember the P-40 found in Egypt, when ita was found, it was founded full still, but now the aircraft has been dismantled by visitors

SomeIrecognize.Lady Be Good, Swamp Ghoast, Glacier Girl, the SBD and Corsair pulled out of Lake Michigan (I think the SBD might now be the one hanging in Midway Airport.Not sure).
I know the FW 190 in the woods is the one recovered around 90 and now flying again. I am curious about the P-38 at 2 min.
All very cool pictures. Thank you.

@grunt
The P-38 at 00:28-0031 is the Maid of Harlech at Gwynedd.
The remains at 00:40-00:43 are those of Halifax RCAF LL505 at Great Carrs.
