Bashar al-Assad of Syria has expressed his concerns in a meeting with Iranian Ayatollah Khamenei over the disposition that Turkey has adopted. Assad says Ankara tries to please the West and helped NATO forces to invade Syria, Turkish media outlets write referring to Arab sources.
Particularly, Lebanese “El Akbar” daily writes Iranian Ayatollah warned Turkey not to provide any territory to NATO, otherwise striking targets if Iran would focus US and NATO headquarters in Turkey.
