Argentine boxer banned for life
I watched the video, I don't think Lazarte started the riot but the International Boxing Federation gave a lifetime ban to Luis Lazarte, Argentine boxer. According to IBF, he helped spark a riot after he lost to Johnriel Casimero of the Philippines. I think the reason he is banned for life, during the sixth round, Lazarte threatened to kill referee Eddie Claudio. .

I agree with the OP, Lazarte didn't start the brawl and he shouldn't have been banned for that, but giving death threats to the ref in the middle of a fight should definitely have done it. That guy exemplifies the modern day man, whiny, complaining about the results from a fair fight, looking to win at all costs even to the detriment of the game he's playing, just an all around LOSER. Too many pepole like this now

Yes, threatening the referee was the cause. But he also gave a dirty fight. The funny thing about this story is that the Philippines removed their ambassador from Argentina after the fight.
