Investigators in the United Arab Emirates are searching for clues into what caused a Boeing 707 cargo plane to crash shortly after takeoff north of Dubai, killing all six crew onboard.
UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority is leading the investigation into Wednesday’s accident.
It had no details about a possible cause Thursday.
A spokesman for the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority says two investigators from the African nation are heading to the Emirates to take part in the probe.
Emirates officials say Sudan Airways flight 2241 from Sharjah to the Sudanese capital Khartoum went down at 3:31 p.m., two minutes after takeoff.
The plane was owned by another Sudanese company, Azza Transport.
