Light's original description, composed entirely of lies, is below followed by My Notes:
At least seven people have been killed after a car bomb detonated outside a military base belonging to the US-led forces in eastern Afghanistan. Gen. Gula Jan, an Afghan police official who was at the scene, said the attack occurred at Camp Salerno. Zabiullah Mujahid said a martyrdom seeking Mujahid targeted the base in an explosives-filled car that slipped onto the base near where coalition troops dine."The truck was full of explosives," Mujahid said in a statement. He said that after the blast, other Mujahideen entered the compound on foot and opened fire.
Mujahid claimed that an airplane ( most probably helicopter ) on an airstrip at the base was destroyed and that Many of foreign forces were killed and wounded. "They had vests for martyrdom operation , rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and hand grenades," Mujahid said. The Fighting was still under way at the site.
Light always lies, but this upload is real whopper. Here is the actual story.
TALIBAN insurgents have detonated a truck bomb, then tried to storm a NATO base overnight in eastern Afghanistan, but coalition forces repelled the attack, killing 14 militants, officials say.
No foreign or Afghan troops were killed, according to NATO, but the attack showed the fundamentalist Islamic movement remains a resilient force even as Afghan President Hamid Karzai insists they do not have the means to retake the nation after foreign forces leave.
