A 34-year-old Pontiac woman is facing drunk driving charges after she slammed into an Oakland County Sheriff's department cruiser in an accident that was caught on the cruiser's dash cam. The deputies had just arrived at a home on Kenilworth to take a police report when they were hit by an oncoming Chevy Malibu. Police say that car was being driven by Tiffany Ann Jackson. Both deputies suffered injuries in the crash, but they were able to approach the Malibu. The deputies
ordered Jackson to get out of the car, but she refused. Investigators say Jackson then made several statements at the scene indicating that she had been drinking.
At that point she was removed from the car and taken to the hospital where her blood was drawn to determine a blood alcohol level. Investigators say the test revealed she had a blood alcohol level of .15. Jackson has been released on bond after being charged with OWI on Sunday.
Both deputies were treated at the hospital. One has already returned to duty. The other is off until December 8.
