A fellow LL'r alerted me to the bean slicer angle.

Something inside just kicked-in and I took a quick shot of red.

The dame was long gone, from my apartment and my memory.

      Back to the day job.

      Finding the mean bean slicer.
      First call, eBay.

Dirty, but always cuts to the core like no other.

      I see a range of bids, mirroring people's self-worth.

I contact the cheapside, likely to be more desperate.

'Shinny134' from Lower East was an easy pick, and the trail just unrevealed from More..

  • It's a 1937 Lie Detector.

You push the naked interogee closer and closer whilst sayin'

    "ARE YOU LYING TO ME?!"

    Keep turning the handle, slowly.
    Don't bother ever oiling it.

    Actually gets better with age.

    • @brainbox43 100% correct it was bolted to a post about a foot off the ground , the sheep's/goats hoof was placed in the apertures then the blades were turned by hand .

  • its either a bean cutter or a pea shucker

mount it on a table and put your beans through it for preserving there where many tools like these for preping foods for long term storage , i had some 10 year old pea's and a tad mushy but ok to eat
