Family Services of Greater Vancouver has launched a provocative new public service campaign to help the community understand the issues that families in our communities face and the social implications these issues have on all family members.
The 30-second television commercial, "Censored", created by Publicis Vancouver, is the first phase of this campaign; it represents the reality of domestic violence--an issue that is at the root of many of the problems and challenges Family Services helps people and families address. The spot begins with obvious tension between a couple that rapidly escalates to violence and ends with the innocent faces of the couple's children who have just witnessed the argument unfold.
The PSA advertisement has been getting a lot of notice around the world.
