And it was all rebuilt. And will all be destroyed yet again. People never learn. Oh well, the US taxpayers will take care of it all and they will all get new homes out of it. Should create a ton of new jobs and a boost to the economy. Too bad us folks that have nothing to do with this will wind up paying the bill.

@dirtbiker201 I take it you don't live in a hurricane disaster area...I do, i can tell you since you sound like you live inland your insurance rates are and should not be affected only those whose homes reside in these areas pay an increased premium rate...I DO !
Thanks for trying

@Gulf Flyer
Oh, so you have your own "hurricane only" insurance companies? You don't have the same companies like Allstate, Liberty Mutual, State Farm, etc...? Obviously I'm being sarcastic. How can you believe a company like State Farm that loses money paying out hurricane disaster funds are not going to jack up the price of insurance for others in non-hurricane areas? That is a pretty stupid assumption. I understand that some have to pay extra for things like flood insurance, More..

And I guess you are some sort of genius in this area? Smart enough to live in a hurricane prone area. That says it all I think.
