Syrian president Bashar Al-Asad claims the ship that was hijacked in international waters by Israeli commandos was not carrying arms and was heading TO Iran FROM Syria.

Israel claims the arms were shipped from Iran and bound for Lebanon's Hizbollah movement. Hundreds of rockets, missiles and grenades were 'found' in containers unloaded from the vessel at the Israeli port of Ashdod.
