    • @hotjobz Not kidding - google the differences between Cow meat and Bison - it's day and night for you and your family. Buffalogal.com ships straight away to your home. Place a $400 order and you may never go back to beef! Their breakfast link sausages run rings around anything I've ever had. I order $100 worth at a time many times during the year. Either way, eating meat requires the commodification of what is intuitively to many not a commodity if it was not for the radical dissociation created More..

    • @PootiesDaddy
I have had Bison years ago and I agree it is a much better beef taste and health wise. The only thing is the price difference. I wish I could find a cheaper route or buy off the hook somewhere near me. I have only had Bison burgers, what are the Ribeyes or Newyork Strips like?

    • @Fire37Rescue I've placed dozens of orders with Buffalogal.com - I would recommend that you skip the strips and rib eyes go directly for the loin. It's pricey but this is what I do... 1. Let it partially thaw in the fridge. I set my timer for 7 hours. At the 7 hour mark you can remove the loin from it's plastic wrapper and using a scale I cut mine into 5 oz. medallions, wrap them individually in aluminum foil twice and then put as many that will fit into giant ziplock bags. 2. I label and date t More..

  • Might be a silent video but it screamed SAVORY.
What was that crock pot spice pack you used? So you did not fill the crock pot with any liquids just the sauce/spice pack? Interesting. Is that the gravy as well? How did you cook/prepare the mushrooms? Would have loved to see how moist the meat was...friggen tease! lol

    • @Fire37Rescue I steamed the shrooms with the rice.

    • @Fire37Rescue Pause the vid where i show the seasoning packet. It shows the brand name. It is for beef. The gravy i just used the left over juices from the crock pot, no flour. The mushrooms i just added to the wild rice during the last 15 minutes of steaming. Soak the rice over night if you don't want to spend the extra time steaming. Follow the directions on the link above for the rice. other wise its all about waiting for the kernals to open up.
