Rescue operation footage after a Super Puma EC225 ditches in the North Sea: May 10th, '12
A Super Puma helicopter carrying oil rig workers ditched into the North Sea on May 10th, after the machine suffered low oil pressure.
The fourteen passengers and crew were successfully rescued.
On April 1st 2009, a Super Puma AS332 operated by the same company, (Bond helicopters) ditched into the North Sea with the loss of all sixteen passengers and flight crew, after a catastrophic gearbox failure.
On 18th February 2009 a Super Puma EC225 operated by the same company ditched into the North Sea, with all 18 passengers and flight crew rescued.
