  • The oil-sand's are a win win situation for all involved.
    America could have had some of this oil piped right to the door, but 0bama blew that one too.
    The amount of job's this has created is astounding, and right now it's one of the main factors keeping Canada going strong economically.
    Years from now the area will be need to be reclaimed and made green again, which creates even more job's as well as being the right thing to do.

  • Since private industry doesn't want to build refineries in Canada, I think the Canadian government should. Start refining our own gas, bring in tons of revenue to the cash strapped government and increase demand (thus lowering cost)
