Finnish RallyCross driver Toomas “Topi” Heikkinen broke his left ankle and
suffered abdominal injuries in a crash into the metal jump ramp on the X Games
RallyCross course Friday during practice runs.
I’m no rally car expert, but if you’re going to try to make your living
jumping shitty Japanese imports covered in Monster stickers off of ramps, you
should probably learn how a gas pedal works. Guy wasn’t even close.
PS- This is easily the most underwhelming reaction to a car going 60 to 0 in
zero seconds you will ever see. The guy on the left fucking walked away like he
was disappointed that the car didn’t explode in a ball of flames and kill the
guy inside. It’s videos like this that make me positive that one day Death Race
is going to become a thing.
