Magical pictures of Niagara Falls lit up by spectacular neon light show

These spectacular pictures of Niagara Falls
show its natural beauty lit up with brilliant neon lights.

The cascading curtain of water looks
particularly magical at night, with the spray glowing bright pink, blue and
yellow against the dark sky as it crashes into the river below.

Photographer Rajeev Nair, from Connecticut,
US, captured the extraordinary pictures of
the annual light show by spending hours at the world famous
landmark.

  • I would love to see this through the hole in a barrel too bad I probably wouldn't survive. Crossing this off my bucket list.

  • Anyone know if there is any video of this sort of thing? I see at the link, in the comments that this is done in many locations around the globe.

  • FYI these are not neons, typical neons are usually used for signs. Usually LEDs are used for colour changing theatrical tasks nowadays. They could be shining these from dry land as well.

  • Niagara Falls is one of those things that pictures just don't do proper justice to.

You have to be there to see it in person to really grasp the enormous size and majesty of the falls. Only an hour away from me, I really should get up there again. I love to take friends & family there who visit from other places. They always are shocked and awestruck with the enormity of it.

The absolute best way to see the falls is to fly over them in a light aircraft. I've been over in a New York Air Nat More..
