Safe Mode: On
Wrong Hair Color? The Michigan DNR Will Kill You..

Beginning April 1, 2012 a mass murder of ranch animals based on the
color of their hair will begin in the state of Michigan. Michigan's
Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has decided that ALL feral
pigs/hogs must be "Destroyed" no matter if they are farmed animals or
not. 30 yr generation farmers are in jeopardy after this ruling is
enforced. Many Michigan farms have no choice but to continue their
operations and hope the DNR doesn't come to their homes knocking or in
their case "Shooting"..

The absolutely Insane part is how the
Michigan's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) describe a "feral" pigs
on their OWN website-

" A feral swine is a free-ranging pig.
Feral swine are considered exotic, nuisance species and cause damage to
agricultural lands and the environment. Feral swine can also have
negative impacts on wildlife and livestock." - [url=http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10370_12145_55230-230093--,00.html]http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10370_1

  • this is not "murder" as "murder" is the taking of a human life however the law seems misguided,

Escaped feral hogs are a huge problem though all across the country, especially in the south!

    • @-shauna- So shauna what is your response to the video we just watched and you commented on? I understand and agree with ridding the wild of these feral hogs, no matter where, as they clearly are an extreme nuisance and do not provide benefit to ecosystem. Please respond to the video though, if this mans family has raised these pigs for 30 years, and they do not destroy anything or anyone and actually produce for your economy and his family... (and these pigs would never be your problem, as the More..

  • This guy should probably go read about how feral pigs affect their ecosystems.

    And then try again.

  • Feral also means "unkept" which suggests the animal has diseases like rabies which kept animals don't get. So, STFU and stop whining. If your animals are wild, eat them yourself and leave us innocent consumers out of your get-rich-quick schemes.

  • Informative video but issue that does not seem to affect me, wonder if it is legal in some or all provinces here, and if so do they plan to change it and put people out of business here too
