The drivers were stupid. The guy orchestrating the start was stupid. Zero common sense or safety precautions. Thank God there were no deaths or injuries.

Stopping in the middle of the road, a fast road at that, is totally stupid. It looks like it was a known race spot with all the other cars around. As for the driver in the big vehicle (4x4?), if he was drunk, then he has all those people to thank for trying to rescue him. The Honda driver was seriously lucky he was in a lhd car, it would have been a different story otherwise.
