Ive done several years of Karate. Lethal shit, when I was a teenager I got challenged to a tonne of boxing matches. I always done the straight to the chin and for months afterwards everyone I had versed complained of having a saw jaw. I never hit them hard enough to KO them cause we were mates but the effectiveness was apparent. I still martial art just not with the same place....

@AussieRevert They don't really throw many cross/hook type punches in Karate. Karate is all about points fighting. Throwing fast single-strike from distance and escaping. Looked like a good solid jab. Looked like he feinted with the left as a diversion.

the person wearing no headgear was probably the higher level one which during full contact fights they have a choice of wearing headgear or not..bad mistake.
