19 workers given medical care after evacuation
Paramedics have so far given medical care to 19 expatriate workers evacuated to Malta on ships. Six were given further treatment at Mater Dei Hospital but three have since been discharged, the Health Ministry said.
It thanked the staff at the hospital and the Health Department for their preparedness to render assistance as required.
It also thanked officials of the Civil Protection Department and Red Cross volunteers.
