CAMDEN — A Westville woman admitted Wednesday she pushed her boyfriend
from a RiverLine train platform as the train was approaching, Camden
County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk said.

Lisa Alyounes, 26, of the
300 block of Summit Avenue, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault by
attempting to cause significant bodily injury and resisting arrest. She
faces four months in the Camden County Jail. She is scheduled for
sentencing on April 27.

Alyounes admitted that on Nov. 29, she
pushed her boyfriend from a platform less than two feet above train
tracks onto the tracks while a train was approaching at a station for NJ
Transit’s RiverLline light rail in Camden. He was not injured and the
two boarded the RiverLine train. Alyounes acknowledged she went on to
beat up the victim while on the train. The assault was filmed by another
passenger.

The video went viral over the Internet.

Alyounes
was removed by the vehicle by Transit Police at the RiverLine station
on 36th Street in Pennsauken Township, and she acknowledged fighting
with police on the platform.
