Injured Iraq War Veteran walks for First Time outside Hospital
A seriously injured Iraqi war veteran walked out of the hospital with his wife and young daughter for the first time today after six months of therapy at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
The emotional moment when Sgt. Eric Edmundson stood from his wheelchair with the help of Rehabilitation Institute staffers was captured by CBS 2. Edmundson was greeted by his wife, Stephanie, and two-year-old daughter, Gracie.
