On May 9, 2009 a few groups of photographers were allowed into The Don Jail. Oddly, I was one of the few people who brought a video camera that day. This video is an exploration of all the floors of the jail including the single/family cells

  • "Sadly, it will soon be renovated..."

    Nothing sad about it brother, we're turning that old prison into office space for the doctors and nurses and administrators of the new Bridgepoint Medical Center we're building that now attatches to it.
    We've turned a building with a history of suffering and torment and misery into a place of hope and healing.

    That's about as cool as it gets, if you ask me.

    Lets see a "few" is like around 3. But 7? How many people were on this tour to make 7 a few? ??

    Oddly, the room is 10 degrees cooler then (than) the rest of the building.....
    7 cameras malfunctioned this day when used in this room. BUT MINE WORKED FINE!

    It's just another old run down prison like all over the world. Strip the metal out of them for scrap and knock it down with all the "ghosts", " More..

  • strange the part when 7 cameras failed to work in the gallows, a similar thing happened when i went to the 9th fort in Kaunas Lithuania 3 yrs ago, two of my cameras started freakin out, one of which was brand new. the screen went white and refused to turn off without ejectin the batts, the other camera startin eatin the batts instantly, enough time for 1 photo. managed to get flicks with SLR camera. 150.000 jews were murdered there.
