1) Those were US soldiers not terrorists. Don't use words that you don't know what they mean.
2) That was just 8 soldiers. Few years back that kind of things hapened everyday in Iraq. Now that was your record.
3) Taleban is getting their asses kicked in Pakistan and more troops are coming to Afghanistan, so war is actualy only at the begining. As for AQ: it hardly even exists nowdays.
