Secret Service Probing Ted Nugent’s Obama Comments After DNC Rep. Goes on 30-Tweet Rampage

Apparently they are looking to bury the story about their agents having sex
with child
prostitutes, and whip the Media into a tizzy

Note: the Secret Service is now apparently involved. See the update at the bottom of the story.

First it was DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz who was awfully upset with Tea Partying rock star Ted Nugent for comments he made at the NRA’s national convention in St. Louis on Saturday.

Now it’s DNC Press Secretary Melanie Roussell’s turn to be shocked that Ted Nugent, nicknamed “The Motor City Madman,” made some controversial remarks.

“Our government is wiping it’s a– with the Constitution,” Nugent said before a gathering of NRA attendees this past weekend.

“We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everyone here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense?” Nugent asked.

Watch excerpts from the Nuge’s interview here [Caution- mild language]:

Nugent called on the NRA attendees to go home and recruit “everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration.”

“If you can’t galvanize and promote and recruit people to vote for Mitt Romney, we’re done. We’ll be a suburb of Indonesia next year,” Nugent said. “Our president, attorney general, vice president, Hillary Clinton–they’re criminals. They’re criminals. Who doesn’t know the crimes our government are committing?”

“If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year,” Nugent added.

“And if you take that adamant ‘we the people’ defiance,” Nugent continued, “We’re Americans because we defy the king. We didn’t negotiate and compromise with the king. We defied the emperors. We are patriots. We are bravehearts.”

He concluded with a battle metaphor: “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November! Any questions?”

Not long after the NRA interview, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz Tweeted the following:

But that was mild compared to what Melanie Roussell was about to unleash.

“Not content to let Debbie Wasserman Schultz have all the mock-worthy thunder regarding Ted Nugent’s comments,” the Twitchy staff writes, “DNC press secretary Melanie Roussell took to Twitter in a bit of a snit.”

At last count, there were over 30 Tweets from Roussell’s account concerning Nugent. As the story grows, there will probably be more.

“No word yet if she’s planning a snit over the despicable Bill Maher or Hilary Rosen,” the Twitchy staff writes, “but The Nuge? ZOMG worst thing ever!”

“Look to your own backyard first, cupcake,” the site added. “This includes vile people whose money the President refuses to return and mom-bashers who have visited him at the White House at least thirty-five times.”

UPDATE:

Apparently, Ted Nugent’s “in jail or dead” comment isn’t sitting well with Secret Service.

“We are aware of it, and we’ll conduct an appropriate follow up,” a spokesman for the Secret Service told New York magazine.

In addition, the DNC has drafted an online petition demanding Mitt Romney denounce “Nugent’s hateful speech.”

Lastly, while being interviewed by conservative talk show host Dana Loesch Tuesday, Nugent refused to apologize for Saturday’s remarks and said they were “100 percent positive,” the New York Times reports.

Update II:

Nugent is definitely not backing down from his comments.

“I will stand by my speech,” Nugent told Loesch, adding that Wasserman Schultz as a “brain-dead, soulless, heartless idiot.”

  • He shouldn't back down, Bill Maher calls Sarah Palin a stupid cunt and tears down Michelle Bachmann calling her awful names but if Nugent does it, its the end of the world. He never threatened anyone so it shouldn't be investigated. It is free speech even if you don't agree. Bill Maher exercises it and he doesn't face scrutiny so neither should Nugent.

    • @fludblud I'm sorry but where was the threat? He never said he would inflict bodily harm on Obama or anyone for that matter. he said he would be in jail or dead; only remarks about himself.....that's not threatening anyones life to kidnap or inflict bodily injury. You can't turn it into something it's not, even in a double entendre it can't be done.

  • If Obama buddies like Farrakhan weren't warning whites saying 'Unless You Change, Your End Has Come'... I might be more inclined to take greater issue, but the truth is Obama and his buddies including domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and hate preacher Rev. Wright do hate America and have in no uncertain terms expressed that view.

We have an American President who hates everything that's the fabric that keeps us United and strong about America.

The Leftist said many of the same things about Bush, More..

  • I think Ted's starting to go a bit senile, but I do agree with him on one thing. We need to get Obama the hell out of the White House ASAP. Sucks that it looks like we have to vote for Romney now or risk losing the election. Never thought I'd vote for a mormon, but I guess it's better than another 4 years of Obama.

I liked Ted a lot better when he was working his axe over on stage with women holding snakes (St. Louis 1985 opening for Aerosmith, it was awesome!!!).

  • You'd think Nugent would be smart enough to know Romney is the same damn thing as Obama.

He should be a Paul guy, but he's too indoctrinated into neo-con rhetoric. Sad, I like the wango-tango too, and cat scratch fever.

  • ANY and EVERYTHING that sounds threatening to our President SHOULD be checked out by secret service. I love nugent, and support him saying anything that doesn't amount to a threat to our president. I can't stand Obama but he gets the same protection as a president i like. NO CRIME HERE, let the Secret Service do its job, it keeps every ass hole from threatening BUSH/OBAMA

obama's definately not the best leader we've ever had, but romney is a fucking robot. i won't vote for robots. seriously, cut his skin and you can see all the wires.
