    1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

  • "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."
    -- Winston Churchill

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But,under the name "Liberalism, "they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened"

  • If capitalism works so well how come there hasn't been 100's of convicted fraud traders from wall st thrown into jail? Someone robs a grocery store by gun, steals $200 and gets 10 years, a wall at criminal steals billions and still not in jail?

      It's not Capitalism , it's theft.

Real capitalism say's that everyone has a chance to become wealthy and successful , as long as they follow the rule of law.
If one gets caught committing fraud , and they are found guilty , then they go too prison.
Capitalism is a good thing , as long as everyone follows the rules.

    • @RustRocket care to show me those rules in action? I guess what im pointing too is true capitalism and true socialism is good for nobody, we need a medium and at the moment we are on the far right of capitalism

    • @peterjames2009 Ansolute Rubbish.
      You speak of Krony capitalism.

The government is a corporation and it is not a capitalist corporation, because it has no competition, it is a monopoly!

Yea , I see your point , but the concept of one man taking an idea and turning it into a business that can grow to any size that he desires , is the ideal.
But we currently don't live in an ideal world , do we?
The very notion that socialism can be a good thing , in even the smallest of terms , flies in the face of freedom and the pursuit of happiness.
Helping those less fortunate , people who really cannot help themselves , is a good thing , and I have no problem with that k More..

Capitalism is voluntary trade - no stealing involved.
Socialism is taxation - i.e. forcible removal of your money from you i.e. theft.

Show some class, he also knows more than you. There are huge issues not even grazed on by this video that the capitalist elite do daily to people who work their asses off for 1/100 of the salary.

There's basically two types of Capitalism.

One is the kind , that is everyman for himself , anything goes , if that means stealing , lying , and cheating then so be it , that is the kind of Capitalism we have today!

The other kind of Capitalism is the kind that is governed by the rule of law , that's the good kind , it says that if you lie , cheat and steal , you lose and must pay restitution.

That good kind of Capitalism ,is a 100 thousand times better than any type of socialism More..

Promoting a healthier lifestyle would help reduce healthcare costs dramatically. I'd invest in these programs before I succumb to paying for every bacon-slathering, mayonnaise inhaling fat slob's healthcare.

Really easy for pawns and sheep to digest. Things are not so black and white. They did not touch on wages, unfair bonuses, unfair taxation, etc.

      Typical.

Can you state your definitions for:

      1) unfair bonuses,

      2) unfair taxation

I know you can't but feel free to reply with your attempts at any time.

I know I'll NEVER get your replies to these questions.

  • Capitalism is when one-third of the entire world's wealth just vaporizes into thin air and not one single individual or group has ever been investigated over it. When there are Untouchables in our financial system, there really is no capitalism. The marriage between Wall Street and Washington is too strong.

    • @EntitlementCentralNYC Wall Street just plays with the money that's currently in the country. In the end, they still pay their taxes (or go to jail for evasion.) You need to look to a certain 1% that has managed to stash away 21 trillion dollars in offshore tax shelters. 21 trillion untaxed dollars, just because your richest felt they weren't quite rich enough. That's not so much a marriage, as it is a prison rape.
