There's no such thing as Christian logic.

@Lucassandro And if they had both been injured within an inch of their life "God spared us" and if one of them lived but the other died "God spared me" and if they both die their family, "God works in mysterious ways please give us the strength to cope". It's infallible 'logic'. No matter what happens God is swell or has some bigger plan. What total bullshit.

Despite the mockery and obscenity, you make a good point. Many who do believe in God rarely thank him for anything...

@MarcusMose Ignorant, condescending, pretentious, lacking perspective, selfish, hateful, pitiful, ungrateful, egocentric, stupid ass. I could adjective, and or metaphor your ungrateful pitiful self for the fact these people in an adrenaline filled, deadly situation, lived. I don't care about your simpleminded statement or your no doubt 12 year old reply you want to write. I hope that is condescending enough. Good luck through your adolescence..

Religion gave those people comfort during a scary moment in time.... Religion gives people hope when their is none in there lives. It helps heal a loss. Religion is a large reason so many donate and volunteer...
All except Muslims of course...now that religion is screwed up!

I'm far from religious, but I have to agree. Religion helps a lot of people through tough times, regardless of what you & I may believe. Religion does a whole lot of good for many while screwing up a few.

these videos can give glimpses at what happens during a tornado..but they don't let you experience the intensity or just how loud these things are..i got a up close and personal with one in mississippi in the late 80's that completely destroyed the building i was working in and it hadn't even touched down yet..i have a whole new respect for what nature can do now.

Isn't that how most prayers go? One starts off with an agenda or an immediate need. Then trail off into rambling nonsense and finish up with an, "Amen."

Damn keyboard warriors we are. If we're on their socks we would've screamed GOD PLEASE BE WITH US, GOD PLEASE SAVE US too! Morons!
I'd give anyone of you a 21-gun salute if you're in a near-death situation like that and no words like God, Jesus, or Christ comes out of your mouth!
It'd be fun though hearing you yell, MOMMY SAVE US, WHERE'S MY DADDY?! Lol!

Very true, I don't believe yet have found myself asking for help when I thought my life may be in danger. It's just human nature to want/need someone or something for a helping hand in the time of need when there's no one else there to give it.
